Nach Abschluss von Gymnasium, Biel und Ecole des Arts Appliqués, Vevey, sammelte ich Erfahrungen als Lehrer der Ecole des Art Appliqués, Vevey und als Chefdekorateur in der Modissa in Zürich.

Die in meine Arbeit integrierten künstlerischen Elemente weckten Interesse, und ich bekam immer häufiger Aufträge für Hintergründe und Sets bei Fotografen, Film- und Werbeproduktionen.

Ausgedehnte Reisen in ferne Länder bewirkten, dass ich mich mehr und mehr der Malerei zuwandte.

Schliesslich wurde nach dem Umzug nach New York Ende der 70er Jahre die Kunst vollends zum Beruf.

Meine Bilder befinden sich in privaten Sammlungen in Europa und Amerika.


After graduation and a short period of teaching at the School for Applied Art, Vevey, Switzerland I moved to a leading Swiss department store as a Display manager.

With the total freedom to create sets that were beyond the ordinary, I incorporated all forms of artistic endeavors into my work. Sets and wall paintings for photographers followed.

Extensive traveling to foreign countries and the rich visual experience added to my personal work as an artist.

With my move to New York in the late seventies and its artistic inspiration, art became a vocation.

My work is in many private collections throughout Europe and the United States.
